Seedstock Sustainable Agriculture Conference Nears Discounted Registration Deadline

News Release – Los Angeles, CA, October 02, 2012 – Less than a week remains to obtain discounted registration for the SEEDSTOCK SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE INNOVATION CONFERENCE to be held, Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
The day’s program will focus on the economic opportunities as well as the environmental and societal benefits of embracing, developing, and investing in sustainable farms, practices, technologies, and start-up companies.
A broad lineup of speakers – from urban agriculture experts and aquaponics entrepreneurs to sustainable agricultural investors and organic and local buyers and sourcers – will cover a variety of topics, including: digital technology and agriculture; scalable sustainable agriculture solutions and local food systems; the social and economic impact of urban farming; sourcing sustainable and organic produce; vertical farming; and, the role of private investors in sustainable agriculture.
Additionally, select start-up companies will be given the opportunity to participate in an Agripreneur Fast Pitch Competition to promote their endeavors to every segment of the sustainability community, including venture capitalists, researchers, media, and other entrepreneurs.
